A short update after more than 9 months - I just bought my first DSLR, a Canon 1000D with 18-55 and 28-90 lenses. I hope this will end my photographic crisis and make me go shoot something, and bring me many happy moments.

I want to thank everybody who's been supporting me so far. Also, a huge wave of gratitude rolling your way for all the attention my picture Isolation [link] has gained, I'd never imagine that it would become (relatively) so popular.

Have a great next year and don't lose inspiration!

Running two accounts isn't easy, so I'm putting up an informative journal entry that will probably be only slightly changed.
My first account was , and as some already know, I created this one because photos were starting to take over the account that was originally intended mainly for drawings, paintings etc. Also, that account remains the one I spend more time on, although I upload on this one more frequently.
If you're interested in what I'm doing at the time, follow the journal, because I'm trying to save mine and your time.

I'm a full time Biology student, so photography is just a hobby, though a much loved one to me and I am constantly trying to improve with whatever tools I have - at the time I have different privileges than earning a better camera, mostly study related.
Also, I don't care much about attention, faves and so on - I upload whatever I want to share with respect to at least SOME general composition, lighting etc. rules.
